Black Diamond Polo Club
Polo Academy West specializes in polo lessons and instruction for players of all levels and abilities. Located in the rolling Calgary foothills at Polospring Farm and Black Diamond Polo Club, our instructors bring more than 40 years of combined experience to the field.
From May through October, we offer polo lessons, riding lessons, introductory polo games, practice chukkers, and tournament opportunities. No prior riding or polo experience is required. Our safe, well-trained horses are suited to riders and players at every stage, from complete beginners to more advanced competitors.
For experienced players, we also offer a string of lease horses available for practice chukkers and tournament polo.
Polo Academy West also specializes in corporate and private polo events for groups, offering a unique and memorable way to experience the sport.

Private Lessons

Offering one on one instruction with one of our coaches, private lessons are perfect for tuning up your game or trying out the sport for the first time!
Lessons include a hitting cage introduction and run for 50 minutes. All equipment is provided.

Group Lessons

Group Lessons run at pre-scheduled times and are a great way to work on your game skills and meet other students at similar levels.
Private Group bookings are also available on request.
